The band in general has a great sound, and the lyrics for this particular song are great.
But their singer really sucks. He pronounces stuff wierd, and he just doesn't have a good singing vouce. Decent tone I suppose, but he just doesn't sound good.
Still a great song that I remember from when I was in 5th or 6th grade. Been trying to find all of my favorite songs from the late 90's/early 2000's

Currently listening to:
Jah Cure - Prison Walls
Jah Cure singing about his time in prison. Recorded while he was still in prison I believe. Still, the man did a horrible crime (robbery & rape), but I just can't hate him cause of the music he makes. However, I won't buy any album of him, and dude I just buy about any good album I see. ^^
The music however, is still good. And in this song he's also singing about how he'd wish he could go back in time... Well too bad man, but still respect for the music.

Heir Apparent + This are the only decent songs on this album. Some are just "f**ked up" as quoted from Mikeal Akerfeldt. The brilliance was Blackwater Park and Ghost. Awesome albums. they somewhat laost that by replacing the guitarist and drummer. Not saying that the replacements are bad though.
Listening too: The Calamity, by Trivium. From "Shogun"
Good album, though after the first few songs interest seems to dwindle a tad, with the execption of this, and Shogun.
Older stuff was better. Only a little bit though.

Good Dancehall song. Currently I'm pretty much into Dancehall music. Like it. Kinda generic though, but frankly got no problems with it/

This song makes you want to throw your hands up and scream. The piano just can't be beat.
Since the forum is so opposed to the word ***, I put a @. Yes, I actually took the time to explain that..

Know that song. Yes, Wyclef is pretty good but I don't find him anything special anymore. But I have periods in which I listen to certain artists more and less to others. But that one is one of his better songs indeed.
Currently listening to the Tupac's CD "Greatest Hits". Still the best Hip Hop there is out there. No mather how much you may hate the genre, Tupac Shakur deserves everyones respect. 10/10

lol pseudo metalheads. Love em haha. I got a mate who loves metal, but knows literally nothing about it ey. The poor thing cracks me up. To each their own but. I generally latch on to "dregs" when I get the next Metal Hammer, that cursed free CD is great. If I like a band on one, I'll grab an album and find out abit about them. Can't say much about my latest interest, except that they dress up like barbarian/ druid things and the lead singer is a slammin' hottie. And that they hail from Finland.
Anyway;

Discovered Jamiroquai just recently. I remember a lot of their songs from years ago, they have a sound which is instantly recognisable and really sets them apart from other bands, not to mention Jay Kay's vocals. Funk revival at its best.

the lyrics are entirely in English, MELL's heavily accented vocals make for good listening
I have a big gun
I took it from my lord
Sleep with justice
I just wanna feel you
I'm your angel
Only a ring away
You make me violate you
No matter who you are
It's all up to you
No one lives forever
Been burn in the hell
By all those pigs out there
It's always been hell
From when i was born
They make me violate them
No matter who they are
Get down on your knees
Get a good head on your shoulders
If it's for your guys
Go to the end of the earth
Do what you think
Give it with dedication
I'll put out your misery
Have no prayer
So, i keep the gun with me
For my safety
I'll do it with no sweat
They mean business
No time for sissy pig
Queen of ocean
Sing "the volga" to you
No need to think about it
You do it or you die
Those aren't tears
Don't let it trick on you
I am hard as steel
Get out of my way
Pay back all at once
Suck away the tender part
You made a mess
For christ sake, this rotten world
**** out of luck
Go with my vision
Light up the fire
Right on the power
Weapon... i have it all
Get down on your knees
Get a good head on your shoulders
If it's for your guys
Go to the end of the earth
Do what you think
Give it with dedication
I'll put out your misery
You made a mess
For christ sake, this rotten world
**** out of luck
Go with my vision
Light up the fire
Right on the power
Weapon... i have it all

A Christian reggae singer? Sounds doubtful I know, but it works! Vocals are pretty good, but especially the beat (or riddim) is making this song. Still, I prefer my reggae to be rasta, not christian. No offence though.
