Hey Brittney! - Forever The Sickest Kids.
Robyn = a new kind of sound to me. It's very hiphop oriented (well, from what I can hear). The music video is ODD but it's a good song. I like it. 7/10.
Forever The Sickest Kids = YAAAAY FOR INDIE/EMO BANDS. Haha. I love this song. Seriously. It's catchy. Well, I like it. =D I give it a 9/10.

Sunday Bloody Sunday is from the album War. Very engaging song, the lyrics are phenomenal (I love the part when he sings, "it picks my back up, puts my back up against the wall..."). Beautiful Day is a great song too.
And of course, let's not forget...

Overall, I'd say this is a pretty good indie song by a pretty good indie band. The melody and the vocals are great but the lyrics are really lacking.
Heaven is a switchboard that you want to fight
she would even miss you if you taught her sight
power politician leaning to the right
baby's got a trust fund
that she'll want to go off like that
get off of my stack
leave a little window
get off of my stack
WTF is that supposed to mean???

One of their best songs. Absolutely insane bass line, it never gets old.
it's bugging me, grating me
and twisting me around
yeah i'm endlessly caving in
and turning inside out
'cause i want it now
i want it now
give me your heart and you soul
and i'm breaking out
i'm breaking out
last chance to lose control
it's holding me, morphing me
and forcing me to strive
to be endlessly cold within
and dreaming i'm alive
'cause i want it now
i want it now
give me your heart and your soul
and i'm breaking down
i'm breaking out
last chance to lose control
and want you now
i want you now
i'll feel my heart implode
and i'm breaking out
escaping now
feeling my faith erode

Living Darfur - Mattafix
It's a guy xD. Anyway, this song is awesome, and truely different from the other Mattafix songs I know and love. Combined with the African Symphony, this song has a unique melody that I just can't resist. Otherwise, this song has a message that one can only hope will come to past.

I was just saying, her voice is way too hoarse (rough) to be a likeable Jpop artist. Artists like Utada, Ayumi and Kitade all have 'sharp' and 'soothing' voices which makes their songs awesome.
And OMG, Rihanna is an awesome artist >>. Youtube "Don't Stop The Music" and tell me what you think =)
And um, all Japanese girls are yummy to me for some reason >>

i paused Children of Bodom to check that song out
CHILDREN OF BODOM!!
sounds like Grade A pop materal, unfortunately that means nothing to mean.
If vocals are going to be clear they have to be amazing for me to listen to them.
Lyrics are a JOKE
Instrument work is non existant
but it is catchy, and that seems to be the only thing that matters in pop music land
i've gone back to listening to
Children of Bodom - Trashed, Lost and Strungout
top stuff as usual, especially in the guitar and keyboard departments ^^

Quite the opposite of most of the songs here. It has a nice, calming, acoustic sound with a voice that sounds something like Death Cab for Cutie mix Dashboard Confessional. A little bit of a cliche sound, but it's nice to listen to at the end of a long day.

I just found this group and I've fallen in love with them. They're sort of a Nickleback/Three Days Grace/Eve 6 sound, with awesome lyrics.
I see a last time attack
From a sad song I need you to come back
If the world gets sick from it's spin
Peel back the walls close me in
When the last hope couldn't be known
When the last chance was being alone
When the lights burned out
And you pulled me out of the dark
Awesome group, I highly recommend them.

Ya I can't really understand much of what they say, but it's still a great metal song.
And while I'm listining to them, if anybody wants to go to a REALLLLLLY intense mosh pit, go see Rammstein. I haven't been but I've seen videos, and some of my friends ahve gone, and basically the WHOLE concert is a mosh pit. There is no standing around or sitting.

Now, I'm not that big of a fan of Kiss, but I rather liked this song when I first heard it. I would have thought that Kiss' playing style would have been heavier, but it's not.

Silverstein-Smile In Your Sleep
You got me in an emo music mode. Lately it's been rap and happy hardcore(No not techno you idiots. It's in own style of music. Yes it's electronic. But still. Sheesh.)
Have you heard of Atreyu, As I Lay Dying, Senses Fail, It Dies Today?

Chris Cornell's voice is a bit too screamy and over the top on Audioslave's first album, but this song's guitar riff and chorus make up for it.

Muse is absolutely amazing, dear God I love them so much. They have an electronic/alternative feel with their albums (Black Holes and Revelations, their latest, is a bit more mainstream, but even so), but it's all so much talent!
Listen to the riff in Plug In Baby from the album Origin of Symmetry for example. Absolutely amazing (it was voted the 12th best guitar riff in music history by some magazine, I'll go and find the source).
(oh and Eugine, Coldplay does rock too. :))
